Sheriff Gene Scarbrough would like to thank area residents for their donation of supplies that will be taken to help Hurricane Helene victims in Vidalia/Toombs County this week.

The collection trailer remains in the Sheriff's Office parking lot as donations continue to be dropped off.

Items in need for Vidalia are non-perishable food items, toilet paper, diapers (4,5,6 & up), paper towels, cleaning supplies, trash bags, enfamil, hygiene products, flashlights and wipes.

Yesterday the Sheriff had some unexpected help from a group of kids loading supplies into the trailer.
