North of I-10:
1.5 to 3 inches of rain will be common through this weekend. A few pockets could get high-end totals of 4 to 6 inches.
I-10 southward:
3 to 6 inches of rain will be common through this weekend. A few places along the immediate coast could get 6 to 10 inches. Despite the dry antecedent conditions, torrential rainfall rates could lead to scattered flash flooding, particularly in urban areas along the coast.
