5th graders at the Len Lastinger Elementary School graduated this week from the 12 week C.H.A.M.P.S. program, Choosing Healthy Activities & Methods Promoting Safety. The program, taught by Deputy Sgt's Yuriana Vazquez & Senida Gongalez, provides guidance and the skills, ability and knowledge to be safe, healthy and happy in preparation for a successful life.

Ellie Porter was chosen as the C.H.A.M.P.S. student of the year for Len Lastinger. Isabella Hernandez was selected as the winner of the poster & essay contest with Josabeth Reyes 2nd and 3rd place went to Jaceon Woods.
