On Wednesday, February 22nd, 2023, based on tips from the community and a lengthy investigation Tift County Sheriff's Office Investigators were able to establish probable cause for search warrants on 727 17th ½ Street in Tift County, Georgia. The Tift County Sheriff's Office Highrisk Entry Apprehension Team served the Warrant leading to the arrest of Donta Thomas and the recovery of firearms, and amounts of methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana and prescription pills.

Donta Thomas, 36 years of age of 727 17th ½ Street Tifton, Georgia was charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine, Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana with intent to Distribute, Possession of Schedule 4 narcotics with intent to Distribute, Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and 4 counts of Possession of narcotics within 1000 feet of a school.
