On Wednesday, November 2nd, 2022, based on tips from the community and a lengthy investigation Tift County Sheriff's Office Investigators were able to establish probable cause for search warrants on 2908, 2910, and 2914 James Avenue in Tift County, Georgia. The Tift County Sheriff's Office Special Response Team simultaneously served all three Warrants leading to the arrest of two suspects and the recovery of numerous firearms, amounts of marijuana, and Cocaine. 

Sam Alexander Sr., 71 years of age of 2914 James Avenue, is charged with Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, Possession of Cocaine with intent to distribute, Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Hovell Stevenson, 33 years of age of 2908 James Avenue, is charged with Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, Possession of Cocaine with intent to distribute, and Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
