Two Arrested for Trafficking Fentanyl & Methamphetamine

On Wednesday, October 5, 2022, the Tift County Sheriff's Office Drug Enforcement Unit concluded a month long drug trafficking investigation which led to the arrest of two people and the seizure of illegal drugs and several firearms.

The Tift County Sheriff's Office Special Response Team served a search warrant at a residence on Hwy 82 East in Tift County and arrested the following:

John Matthew Hill of Tifton, Georgia and Jessica Jolane Rogers also of Tifton, Georgia.

     John Matthew Hill is charged with:                               

Trafficking in Methamphetamine

Trafficking in Fentanyl / Heroin

Possession with intent to distribute Sch. III controlled substance (Buprenorphine & Naloxone)                    

Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime (Trafficking in Meth)             

      Jessica Jolane Rogers is charged with:                     

Trafficking in Methamphetamine

Trafficking in Fentanyl / Heroin

Possession with intent to distribute Sch. III controlled substance (Buprenorphine & Naloxone)
