Two Arrests & 98 Pounds Of Marijuana Seized

On Monday, July 25, 2022 members of the Tift County Sheriff's Office, Georgia State Patrol and Cook County Sheriff's Office arrested Chadwick Estrada, age 38 of Doraville, Georgia along with Cornelius Keaon White, age 41 of Tifton, Georgia.

Estrada was pulled over in Cook County, by Georgia State Patrol for traffic offenses, which lead to the request for assistance from Cook County Sheriff's Office K-9 unit. Agencies recovered 46 pounds of marijuana and US currency during the traffic stop. Estrada was charged with trafficking marijuana and traffic offenses.

White was arrested in Tift County after an attempted traffic stop, which lead to a short foot pursuit by members of the Tift County Sheriff's Office.  Officers were able to seize 46 pounds of marijuana and US currency during his arrest. White is also, charged with trafficking marijuana and traffic offenses.

Based on tips from the community, the above arrest, along with a lengthy investigation by Tift County Sheriff's Office, investigators were able to establish probable cause for a search warrant on Lake Larry Drive in Tift County, which resulted in the seizure of additional 6 pounds of marijuana and other narcotics.
