Tift County Sheriff Gene Scarbrough is shown accepting a $3,000 donation from Dale Fender, representing the Tiftarea Sportsmans Club, for the Georgia Sheriff's Youth Homes.  The youth homes are located on 5 campuses: Boys Ranch in Hahira, Cherokeee Estate in Dalton, Pineland/Camp Pioneer in LaGrange, Herrington Homestead near Swainsboro and Mountainview in Chatsworth.  

The purpose of the Georgia Sheriff's Youth Homes is to provide a secure future for Georgia's need and worthy children who through no fault of their own require home placement.
