
Sheriff Gene Scarbrough Reports Activity For October 2019
Deputies responded to 2,737 calls for service, conducted 1,487 business and property checks along with 614 mobile home park and subdivision checks along with 32 school checks.
Sheriff Scarbrough said deputies served 75 warrants, 170 civil papers and 295 subpoenas.
The sheriff reported that deputies arrested 56 people, some on multiple charges. He said that 20 charges of parole/probation violation were filed, 9 crimes against a person charges, 6 property crimes charges, 5 child support violations, 4 drug arrests, 2 cases of fraud, 2 cases of obstruction of deputies and 9 other non-traffic charges with 71 cases being assigned to the Criminal Investigative Division.
Traffic stops conducted by deputies led to 19 individuals having a suspended or revoked driver's license as well as the arrest of 1 wanted person and 4 drivers being charged with DUI.
He added that deputies completed 518 reports, worked 43 accidents, patrolled 56,390 miles, verified the home addresses of 68 registered sex offenders and issued 666 citations with 87 warnings.
The sheriff also reported that deputies provided 70 transports, totaling 172 hours and 6,701 miles.
