
Arrests Made in Drug Investigation
Tift County, GA (11/08/2019) - On Wednesday, November 6th, 2019, members of the GBI Southwestern Regional Drug Enforcement Office, Mid-South Narcotics Task Force, and the Tift County Sheriff's Office arrested Jarvis Lashawn Lindsey, age 31, of Ty Ty, GA and Antoinette Monique Lindsey, age 33, of Ty Ty, GA on the following charges:
- Jarvis Lindsey - Trafficking in Heroin, Trafficking in Cocaine, Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Xanax with Intent to Distribute , Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon(three counts), Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony and Probation Violation.
- Antoinette Lindsey - Trafficking in Heroin, Trafficking in Cocaine, Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Xanax with Intent to Distribute and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony.
These arrests are the results of a three-month investigation. During the investigation, agents began purchasing methamphetamine from Jarvis Lashawn Lindsey at 4562 U.S. Highway 82 and 113 West Elman Street in Ty Ty, Tift County, Georgia. Throughout the investigation, numerous investigative acts to include controlled purchases, led agents to develop probable cause for the issuance of search warrants and arrests warrants.
As a result of the search warrant, approximately 33 grams of suspected heroin, powder cocaine, crack cocaine, methamphetamine, and Xanax pills were discovered. Also discovered during the search were three handguns and $5,258.00 in U.S. Currency.
Both Jarvis and Antoinette Lindsey are currently incarcerated in Tift County Jail.
The GBI Southwestern Regional Drug Enforcement Office is in Albany, Georgia and services 42 counties in Southwest Georgia. The office is a collaborative effort between the GBI, the Albany Police Department, the Dougherty County Sheriff's Office, the Dougherty County Police Department and the Dougherty County District Attorney's Office and is partially funded with Byrne/JAG grant funds.
