Burglary & Entering Auto Arrests Made
In recent weeks, Tift County Investigators have been looking into complaints of Burglary, Entering Auto, and Theft by Taking Motor Vehicle in the area of Highway 125 South. Efforts from Investigators culminated Friday, November 1st, with the execution of a search warrant which led to multiple arrests. Eighteen year old Robtavious Tuff and his brother, twenty year old Paris Mims, face charges stemming from six separate incidents. At this time, Paris Mims has been charged with 2 counts of Theft by Taking Motor Vehicle, 1 count of Burglary 2nd Degree, 1 count of Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and 1 count of obstruction of an officer. Robtavious Tuff has been charged with 3 counts of Burglary 2nd Degree, 3 Counts of Entering Auto, 4 counts of Theft by Taking Motor Vehicle, 1 count of obstruction of an officer, and 1 count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. The investigation is ongoing and additional warrants may follow.
