Missing Person Found

On Friday, February 9th, the Tift County Sheriff’s Office received a phone call from area residents stating that they believed they had located a yellow Ford Ranger owned by missing person Clarence Harmon Saylor.  Deputies responded and determined it was the Ford Ranger and conducted a search in a heavily wooded area and located Mr. Saylor who was deceased.

While there were no signs of foul play, the body was sent to the Georgia Bureau of Investigations Crime Lab for an autopsy.  The results of the autopsy are pending.  Sheriff Gene Scarbrough would like to give his condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Saylor.
