Lt. Colonel Robert Brannen Wins Liberty Bell Award
Lt. Colonel Robert (Bobby) Brannen was awarded the prestigious "Liberty Bell Award" last night during a dinner and reception sponsored by the Tifton Judicial Circuit Bar Association. Brannen was honored for "promoting a better understanding of the government and for encouraging a greater respect for law and the courts."
Lt. Colonel Brannen has served with the Tift County Sheriff's Office for 39 1/2 years and began his service January 12, 1976. He currently is the commander of Support Services at the Sheriff's Office after serving as the head of the Criminal Investigative Division for more than 25 years.
